With Washington gearing up to escalate the war in Afganistan and Pakistan with up to 40,000 more troops the time to take to the streets is now. On October 17th demonstrations against the wars will be held in more than 40 cities across the United States. Organizations of every stripe are involved. In Boston's Copley square people from all six New England States will converge for a rally and march against the wars waged by the U.S. People will get there by every means.

In Connecticut we have a bus available for all. It will leave for the march at 8:30am from Central Connecticut State University from the out-door parking lot in front of the Student Center on Ella Grasso BLVD in New Britain. The bus will return by 8:30pm. Seats are $20 each, but LOWER PRICED TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM. Rides to the bus are available.
